The Use Of Hydraulic Vane Pump : What Matters

1. Installation

The installation of the hydraulic vane pump must avoid using belts, chains, gears to directly drive the hydraulic vane pump. It is recommended to drive the hydraulic vane pump with a coaxial direct motor, and use a flexible connection or a spline connection; when connected to the motor, the hydraulic vane pump shaft and the motor shaft must be between 0.05 For coaxial lines within the tolerance range of mm, a rotary flexible coupling with clearance error compensation and angle error compensation should be used. In order to avoid damage to bearings, oil seals, etc., noise, vibration or even accidents due to the misalignment of the two.

2. Turn

The standard hydraulic vane pump should rotate clockwise when viewed from its shaft end, otherwise it is regarded as a reverse hydraulic vane pump, and the forward rotation hydraulic vane pump will not be oiled when it rotates in a counterclockwise direction.

3. Start

When the hydraulic vane pump is first started, the trapped air must be removed from the system. Generally, you can loosen the oil outlet pipe joint of the hydraulic vane pump to exhaust, or use the exhaust valve to exhaust. For low-flow hydraulic vane pumps with poor self-priming, the hydraulic vane pump must be filled with oil through the drain or inlet pipe before starting the hydraulic vane pump. In a short period of time, the rapid opening and stopping of the hydraulic hydraulic vane pump can also make the hydraulic vane pump fill and exhaust quickly. The overflow valve must be fully opened when starting, that is, the system is started under no pressure, and the motor rotation direction is checked.

4. Filtration requirements

In order to ensure the working reliability of the hydraulic vane pump, the oil should be filtered with full flow to make the oil cleanliness in accordance with IS04406 standard 19/15 or cleaner hydraulic oil (such as 16/13), the suction line is recommended to use 150 mesh Suction oil filter, oil return pipe 25~10 industry filter.

5. Hydraulic oil

Generally, hydraulic vane pumps use anti-wear hydraulic oil with a viscosity of 25 to 68 cst. The temperature difference between the hydraulic vane pump body and the oil is controlled within 20 ℃, and the oil temperature should not be higher than 60 ℃. Different hydraulic oils have different working oil temperatures.

6. Pump speed

Please refer to the regulations of the operating instructions of the hydraulic vane pump. Generally, the speed range of the hydraulic vane pump is 600~1800r/min.
